Can i just take out the bulbs or would i have to remove some stuff in order to remove the bulbs?? Can someone help me? Ive been trying to search for this topic but cannot find it anywhere... Sorry if it has been posted but the only one i saw for a DIY is to replace a NON HID is250 with hid kit... I just wanna know if ill have to remove anything before removing the bulbs... ^LOL

the DIY for the non-HID cars is the best DIY to look at. Its easy just remove the air intake box and the windshield wash fluid tube.

you only need to swap out the bulbs. you can use D4S or D4C bulbs.

to access the bulb housings:
- on the driver's side, you have to remove the window washer fluid hose.
- on the passenger side, you have to remove the stock airbox. if you have an aftermarket, open-element intake, then you should have plenty of room.

No. Drilling the hole is a MUST to help seal out particulate matter and moisture from the light. Failure to do so will cause premature bulb wear, condensation in the headlight, or even dust and dirt in there (which is incredibly difficult to clean). Just drill a one inch hole in those covers, and if you want, you can buy the covers separately for like 30 bucks or so for when you want to switch back.

Anyway, you don't need to remove the bumper. Just take out the air intake box and windshield wiper fluid, and be prepared to curse up a storm because space is so limited in there.
