Default Quick LED bulb question (door panel / puddle lamp)

I just need a quick confirmation after doing a search:

Will LEDs for the front door panels (ie- from Sewell's LED interior kit) work in the mirror puddle lights as well.

From doing a quick search, it appears that they're the same size.

TIA,

Mike

The flanks bulbs works very well for the puddles. Very bright! It's sold @ v-leds.com

Yes, it takes the same 194 bulb. I hear the flank style bulb design works great. I have a 7 led round bulb in the mirrors and it shines quite a bit of light. Keep in mind however, the puddle lights don't put out much light no matter what shape of bulb you decide to install. But they look so much better than stock!

Are flanks better or the ones that fire in "all directions"? I tried both and I felt like the ones that fire in all directions were better given the reflective inside of the puddle lamp housing. I'll have both 4 LED flank and 8 LED bulb to test with in a while. I'll figure out out then I guess.

flank bulbs only fire one direction. i had regular 'round" led in the puddle lamps before, the flank ones put out a lot more since it is only "shooting" light in one direction, downwards.

I don't find the factory incandescent all that bright, but it's fine for me.

So....would the ones for the door panel be about the same as the incandescent if I use them in the puddle lights????
