I got up this morning, went out to my car and seen condensation on the inside of my windshield, sunroof and windows. I checked my windows and all of them seemed to be rolled up all the way. The next place I looked was my sunroof. The back edge looks like it does not sit as low as I think it should.
(CRAZY PIC REQUEST ALERT) Could someone please take a pic of their sunroof in the closed position from the driver seat point of view with the shade pulled back of course. Thanks in advance.
nothin to worry about bro. haha. and it's funny if u never look at something and you believe that it is causing the problem (sunroof in ur case) it seems like it's not the way it should be. in other words the sunroof might look open or something but it's not, easy way to find this out is look from the top of your car
Well I checked this morning when I left and no more condensation. So I guess it was moisture and not something that wasn't sealed up. I just didn't think this would be normal. But if you guys say so, I trust you know what you're talking about. THANKS!
On a funny side note, I've never had this happen with my '89 Mustang (which was 10 years old when I got it in '99) or my 15 year old Civic.
Here is an idea - maybe you got some water inside the car from washing, etc., and it was enough on the floor, under the mats, etc., to cause the condensation inside the car when the outside temp went up and then cooled down.
Did you wash your car or have it washed that day ??
