Default Driver Headliner Rattle?

Anybody have any experience with a rattle in the driver's side headliner above the window when going over bumps? It is not the grab bar as the noise continues even if I hold that tight. Not sure what it is coming from.

are you sure it isnt the shade to the moonroof??? mine does that when it is closed all the way. I just open it up a tad and it goes away.

Does not seem to be the sunshade-definitely coming from upper left near the grab bar or perhaps airbag above door?

hate to raise an old thread from the dead, but I just recently started having the same problem, it seems to be in the headliner between the moonroof and the windshield...I've tried sticking some felt padding in between but the noise came back shortly after and the headliner started to sag from the stress of playing with it..Has anyone had success with tearing apart the roof?

the headliner is glued on so theres no way of taking it off...if ur cars under warranty, the dealer can fix it..i had 2 air bubbles in my headliner and the dealer replaced it

I have brought it in 2X for the rattle which sounds like it is near the grab bar but is not. The dealer fixed it each time but it continues to come back.

I took the plastic crap off the visor bracket, took the two screws out to remove visor, and noticed a plastic electrical housing unit sitting on bare metal. After squeezing small pieces of foam between the housing and metal, problem solved
