Default Ti finish?

i have the hks hi power exhaust, chrome, but i was wondering.. is it possible to get a Ti like finish on them; the burnt titanium?

prolly not b/c HKS isn't titainium. you need to heat it to that color.

Its actually not heat. Its a chemical process with electricity and timing.

isn't it just oxidized titanium? cuz i have an oxidized titanium knife from kershaw and it looks like that

but anyhow i want that on my exhaust real bad too, but dont' think it'll happen, i can weld myself so i might eventually try to chop some of those off another exhaust and try to custom fit them up.
