Hey all. New member checking in.
I bought an 08 IS250 AWD a week ago. It's black on black, nav, hid, vented seats, spoiler, etc. Very nice car and the Lexus incentives are very good right now.
I looked at many cars and really wanted a turbo as I live at 5000+ feet and turbos do not experience the power drop at elevation like normally aspirated cars do.
I considered a S60R, I have a S60 T4, a Legacy GT, A4, TL, Genesis, and the G35. At the end of the day the IS made sense. First off it's a Lexus. Toyota Motor Co. reliability, and resale is outstanding on these cars.
I tinted the windows the day after I bought it. 25% smoke all the way around. I clear bra'd the hood, front bumper, fenders, and mirrors at the same time.
I just wanted to check in and say hi. I have many questions but I'll continue using the search and post if I can't find my answers.
The car is great, underpowered, but great. It's a pleasure to drive.
