Will most of these wheel set ups work with my IS-F? I know I have to clear the larger brakes. Just curious if the offsets will be close.

Hey guys, any insight on the attached pic? It's my 19x9.5 with a 225/35. It seems like it didn't stretch properly? It's a reverse mount wheel, so that's how I did it.

It's been quite a few years since I worked at a tire shop.. Or am I just seeing things?

After some further research, it appears this is due to the design of the wheel and there isn't anything to worry about. Is this true?

no, ignore all offsets in this thread, you have an extra 1/2" on each side of the axle. your offsets roughly with be 12-15mm higher

it looks like a 225 on a 9.5, inner barrel of the wheel will appear as if it stetched more on one side.
225/40 on a 18x10.5 left side is the inner barrel right is the face

265/35 on 18x12 right is the inner barrel left is the face

read above, the second picture is a work meister which is reverse mount because of the step lip is has, that tire was a pain in the *** with a 5.5" lip and stepped. you have nothing to worry about these 2 wheels never unbeaded and they are alot more aggressive stretches than 225/35 on 19x9.5"

what tire size/brand is needed for:

F 19 x 9.5 x +17
R 19 x 10.5 x +22

already have tabs shaved and fenders rolled. ideal drop would be fender sitting flush with tire.

thanks

225/35 or 215/35 and 265/30 or 235/35 falkens and nankings will stretch well for that

its because you have a bigger tire on a narrower wheel. i ran 215/35 on my 9's. and if you dont remove your bumper tab your gunna rub anyway.

I run 215/35 on my 19x8.5 up front. No fender/fender liner mods, car is as low as it'll go on Megan's (car is AWD), only rubs on big bumps or hard turns. The outer rolling diameter is almost identical to stock tires.

I want to order my wheels tomorrow, but I cannot find the answer to my question! Will the 19x9.5 +30 fit in the front and clear the inner fender? I've seen +22, but that will obviously sit closer to the fender. I just want to make sure I can make these fit without rubbing like my subaru does haha.

Any help would be great because like I said, I want to get these wheels tomorrow. I already know I am getting 19x10.5 +22 rear with 255s

you mean, you haven't done any fender work?

i have doubts as to whether your proposed specs for the front wheels will clear IF you haven't done any fender work.

Ahh yes. I remember someone talking to me about how his 11" width barely cleared his shocks. I forgot who. Offset was high 30s.

this might sound like a weird question but if i'm planning on putting 225/35 on a 19x9.5 fronts, what size tire should i put in a 19x10.5 to have the same amount of stretch on fronts and backs? TIA
