yes, but you'll rub away your fender liner...but who cares...as long as it looks good, right?

just go with a 225/40 and you should be fine.

I run 225/35 on a 9.5. Rims are fine on a good road.

Quick Q for you guys that did some fender/wheel well mods:

I've rubbed through my front plastic fender liner up top where the bumper and fender meet. Underneath the plastic is this metal piece that is starting to slice/gouge my tires a bit. Do any of you know what I'm talking about?

Its night and a pic wont come out, but I was hoping someone knew what I was talking about and had some advise about what I could do with this.

I almost want to just start abashing it with a hammer to try to bend it up but not sure if it will have consequences to the outer appearance of my bumper/fender.

Anyone with a tip on this?

I used a heat gun to get it a lil soft then I took a hammer and banged it in.

Your talking about that metal piece I tried to describe right? Not the plastic fender linder, correct?

If so, any words of caution on 'banging' it with a hammer? I'm a little nervous because it is apart of the fender/bumper body. LOL - dont want to start wacking at it then look up and see I just deformed the outside of my bumper or something

Lol. Yes, the METAL thing. I took a hammer and started banging it until it bent back. My bumper looks fine. Chris did the same thing.
