Default IS250 is fast!!??

after a few days playing with my vector fx2 i'm a bit surprised off the results, i find the IS250 not so slow as many think.Ofcourse it is not a IS350 or ISF.
i have done some pulls in the afternoon but this morning in sunny conditions but still not to hot 68f(20degrees) i was able to clock:

1/4m 16.35 @ 91.6
0-80 12.20sec
0-60 7.22sec

I also went up to 4000rpm before letting the cluth go(It's a manual)
Car has k&n intake and tanabe
Just wanted to share because i'm a proud owner of an Is250

The 250 is decent. Gets out of it's own way when needed. I had to pass someone going way too slow in the fast lane today and the car took off swifly with full throttle. No complaints here for city driving. But I think it could use just a tad more power on the highway for passing situations. Overall, I think it's a good compromise of power and economy. And I like the exhaust note!

Its fast when we compare it to many cars. But is it fast enough? no. not even the Is350 .

There is always somone faster than you.

According to me it lacks low end torque. The car is heavy and would deserve some more power. As we can't get the IS350 in Europe, a Gen² IS300 fitted with the GS300 V6 would be perfect for us.

16.35? that seems pretty slow to me IMHO. I had a bone stock 2004 5MT honda accord that did low 15s...

when i drive my 250 it seems faster than my accord, maybe its just because its heavy.

"FAST" is a relative term like "Cold". But it is subjective. IMHO, the IS250 is not fast. I have been driving a 335i and an S4 previous to that. I think they are fast. BUT if I compare those to Z06 Corvettes, M3s and MB AMG cars and other exotics, they are NOT FAST!

The IS350 is a very fast car for what it is and the class it is in. There are very few cars in its class that are faster. A good example is the G37, redesigned and still not as fast or luxurious. It took a twin turbo engine to match the performance the IS!

These are just specs, make of them what you will, but the IS350 consistently
pulls better times than the G37(which is actually slower than the G35).

From Yahoo Autos

Standard Engine 3.5L V6 3.7L V6
Standard Transmission 6 Speed Automatic 6 Speed Manual
Cylinders 6 6
Horsepower @ RPM 306@6400 330@7000
Gas Mileage 18 mpg city/25 mpg hwy more info 17 mpg city/26 mpg hwy more info
Curb Weight (Manual Transmission) NA 3668
Curb Weight (Automatic Transmission) 3527 NA

From Wikipedia:
2GR-FSE : 278 ft·lbf) at 4,800 RPM.

VQ37VHR: 268 ft·lbf) at 5,200 RPM

I took in my Is for the 1000 mile optional check up and they gave me an IS250 Automatic. and hehehe I plugged my vector Fx to it and did 2 runs only 0-60
I got 8.0 and 7.8.
It was like 95 outside so im sure with coller weather that ATX can go down to mid 7's from 0-60

so it's not that bad.isn't it??

... i just wanted to say that i find it pretty fast and yes there are a lot off other cars that are faster but would not want to trade them for my IS250 as daily driver because speed isn't everything when i buy a new car.
The results wil be compared after i installed the mazzuri's
