15.58 is respectable. A lot better than I would think for a 200HP car that weighs as much as an IS does.

every IS owner in euro is going to be jealous. 350 is substantially quicker than the 250. If I can ask how much did it cost to bring it over

It's not SUPER fast, but it has a nice response thinking that it is a heavy car.......besides, if u want speed and you picked an IS250.......FAIL!!!!!!!

Shipping it from Baltimore cost me only $1700. It takes only 11 days to cross the water but have to go thru costums process when exiting/entering the port. So I was giving a 30 day NLT date for the total process; also depends on the next departing ship schedule. In the end it will be well worth it pain and waiting when I put my baby on the Autobahn after I break-in!!!

The good old TC...I milked 278HP out of it... I feel the Scion would have took the IS 250...but the Tc would lose on the top end

My little TC had a bit more than that, and a bit of boost to get things moving

Hit up dragtimes.com and search for IS250 then compare Scion tC. You'll see they both run mid 15's around 90 mph. Driver's race.

CAI and exhaust add nothing worth mentioning to a tC. Much like the IS250 you're not going to see much (if any) improvement with smog legal mods. The clutch is a total waste if he didn't put in a LW flywheel (which was the very best mod I ever did to my tC!)

I dunno... I've had an IS250awd loaner for half a week now and I can't wait to get my 350 back. The only time the car feels like it pulls is between 0 and 30, stepping on the gas at 50-60 to merge or pass results in next to nothing, and the car feels... wrong... when pushed. It just sounds/viberates weird, like it doesn't enjoy the higher rpm's. Of course, it is a loaner, who knows what its been through, but my 350 *loves* high rpm's, you never get the feeling like you're going to hurt the car by pressing it.

List being fixed:
-Dash rattle
-Cam gear actuaters? (I probably didn't use real words there, but its the startup chatter that they finally got to happen firsthand)
-Sunroof squeak
ETA... 4 more days =(

LW Fly...x2 I was very happy with this mod but i did get a little "chatter" but that seem to be the norm

i agree, the IS250 is too slow, it contradicts itself quite a lot.. the exterior look gives it an impression like it wants to go fast and is aggressive but it really doesn't live up to that image.. For a $36K car, it's pretty slow and bad deal IMO.. To be more precise, it's like looking at an Infiniti G37 which in the end drives no more different than a civic... the exterior just doesn't seem to make sense with the specs of the car, if you really think about it... hey, if you can spend that much, why not add another $4-6K and get the IS350? that car is awesome... and gets almost the same gas mileage..

I would get the TSX over the IS250 and IS350 over the G, TL or any other car in that category... except if you get the AWD or manual, then IS250 is fine.. but for manual you can't beat the TSX, it's greased with crisco and even enthusiasts agree that it's one of the best manual cars ever built..

Regarding the quality of the car, I don't know if you agree with me or not, but I think the IS lineup is poorly built and this car has single handedly skewed the image of this luxury brand.. lexus quality has gone down.. i just hope they don't become like benz.
