Has anyone installed LED door handle that lights up when the doors unlocked? I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this but I can't find it.

oo that's pretty cool...i think the new beemers have those too...just they sorta point down to the ground (much like the puddle lamps but for the handles)

yeah it looks nice...there are some kits on ebay but they look phony

 

Those would go great with my illuminated sills.

 

It would be great if those could be hooked into the puddle lights and illuminate with them when you walk up to the door.

There are DIY's out there. The best one i've seen is to remove door handle, than drill the door handle. Most youtube stuff you find will drill the actual body of the car, but if you place it on the door handle, the light is reflected to the car instead reflecting out which will lose some of the light output.

Not sure what they do for wiring though.

 

That IS in the photo ^^^ looks like it has LED puddle lights too.

 

Yup. The new 3 series has lights at each handle, they look very cool at night.
