2009 IS facelift (merged threads)
I was under the impression they're offering the same packages for cheaper now. Otherwise, they shouldn't advertise the percent discount as a "discount" when all they're really doing is taking out options (e.g. if the "Luxury Value Edition" Luxury Package doesn't include memory seats).
EDIT: But thinking about it, it doesn't make sense either that they'd offer such discounts, so I guess I'm just as confused as everybody.

I wonder when they are going to release shots of the new OEM kit
I know the specs of our model won't exactly match Japan's, but I think it's worth a look to see what's on the Lexus Japan website...

The IS refresh is featured prominently.
Click the link on the main page, to the right of IS.
Then click for the movie. Watch all the way through for closeups.
You can also see the two-tone seat/backs in the 4th part.
If you click Design on the left nav, then the 4th option, you can switch between the 17" and 18" wheels.
If you click the 2nd link above the car, you can review the new interior schemes.
In the Comfort and Driver Support section you can see the center stack backlighting is still green -- too bad. I was hoping they'd fix that at the refresh.
And the dog carrier/sling in the Specs section is hilarious.
Again, our specs won't match exactly, but gives more pix/closeups...

Yeah, but will it be the 0.1 second insta-shift of the IS-F...which would be a BIG deal... or the "I'll get to it eventually" shift you see in S mode on the ISx50 now, which'd just make it another novelty?
No because the regular IS250/350 doesn't benefit from a "Sport" mode. I'm pretty sure Lexus will keep alot of exclusive goodies for the F.
