Yesterday's dealer memo said in the opening paragraph that pricing would be announced to the public on Friday, September 5. I'm curious if that will include any explanation of the new "Luxury Value Edition" packages. I don't see any press releases anywhere. Does anyone know?

The ISF gets a piano black trim option?
Man, that sucks for current ISF owners. So many of them complained that Lexus should have offered a piano black trim option for the ISF, rather than forcing people to have the white carbon fibre trim.
I would LOVE to see piano black in the 250's and 350's, too.

Not sure if this was posted and dont flame me if it was...but on the US Lexus site they have pictures of the 09. But then if you go to "build" one it goes back to the 08's.

Honestly all i really like are the two tone seats and the front end.
The rear lights are just ugly, i dont care for the turn signal mirrors, the chrome around the nav looks gaudy (not to mention when i had a loaner ES with the chrome like that i was nearly blinded when the sun reflected off of it into my eyes), Dark grey "wood" just looks goofy at least our "wood" is a natural color, the vents looks better the old way.
Anyways im glad i got an 08.

They don't mention anything about the card key for SmartAccess, so I guess it's confirmed that U.S. models won't get it? I checked Canada's website, and they do mention that 09 models include 1 card key.

'Power-adjustable, auto-folding outside mirrors with puddle lamps and integrated turn indicators.'
So all 09 IS can automatically fold the mirrors, and from the price chart it seems for the same or even lower price, 09 owners can get much better equipped car than our 06-08 IS250 owner: auto-dimming, auto tilt-down in reverse, auto-folding mirrors, memory seats, Power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, Illuminated doorsill (i paid an extra $3XX to get them and had to install by myself!), Power rear-window sunshade, Rain-sensing wipers, VDIM...
Oh, this really, really hurts me!
But at the same time, this seems to make IS350 less attractive - since the only difference between 350 and 250 will only be the engine. Think about that for 06-08, unless you special order and wait for some months, there is no way you can get a IS250 with the above mentioned functions, and what made IS350 attractive PREVIOUSLY was these functions were PRACTICALLY available/in stock ONLY for the 350 trim.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm in Texas. If you type in a texas zip code in the 'build your lexus' section of the Lexus website and you'll know what I mean. I asked my local dealers about the extra options, they all said unless I special order, they can't get one no matter how hard they try.
