Take off the reflector?

Default Take off the reflector?

are we able to take off the reflector. the reason why i ask is because i just got some tint spray and i want to spray my reflectors. i kno i can with tail lights. i did try doing a search but no ones seems to be asking this question. Thanks cl.

i hate the reflectors too. i have the smoke overlay right now. its not cutting it. I am going to get it painted same as my car color when I go paint my body kit.

u can remove the reflectors, however you need to remove the whole rear bumper, which is easy. After the bumper is removed you can see clearly see that the reflectors are secured by 1 or two screws (I forget how many screws).

thanx for the info... i got overlays and didnt like them so im paint over my overlays just incase i ever want to sell the car,.

thought about painting them and even filling them in but I'm happy w/ the direction i went w/ the overlays... could of been a different story if i had a different car than black.

I like'em! It sets the car apart from the rest out there. I believe certain things on certain cars should be kept and this one of them.

I ordered jet black vinyl overlays for the reflectors so I'll let you know how it comes out. (Very dark so that the reflector will not reflect or anything when light is shined on it)

I painted my reflectors while still on my bumper, took me awhile bc i had to tape all around but in the end it saved time and still looks great IMO

I always told myself if I ever had bumper damage and had to repaint, I would bondo over those unsightly reflector indentations lol.

they dont take away anything look wise from the car IMO...their alright ....I've seen the bumper removed before and its being held by some screws two I think on each end facing from inside the bumper....
