Im hoping for 09 the memory is linked to the keyless access like in the ES and i also hope that we get the headrest that moves up and down automatically when the seat is slid forward or backward like the LS and GS. I cant think of any other changes to make to the IS. I cant wait to get my new IS350.

It is linked to keyless access, unless we are thinking of two different things...

When I open my door using my fob (which is linked to memory #1) it adjusts everything for mem 1 position. When my girl uses her fob (which is linked to memory #2) to open the door, it adjusts to mem 2 seating position...

Noone seems to be calling for more power. Especially the 250 crowd. What if the 250 became a 300 with direct ignition. That would certainly mix things up quite a bit. That is not to say I expect this to happen, just would be interesting if there was a power increase across the board.

The thing is the 250 was never meant for power, it was meant to be entry of the line and obtain good gas mileage. Power was given through the 350 option...

Although changes (even cosmetic) to any car are typically done deals at least 2 years prior to release, I would be willing to bet that Lexus would pull the plug on horsepower increases for the 250 right now. Everyone is screaming for better mileage on smaller cars. If you want more power and don't care as much about mpg, then you're likely a 350 customer anyway.
