I recommend you do the heat gun mod. You heat up the plastic with a heat gun, and push it a little bit with a towel. I personally haven't done it on mine, as I don't have that problem, but everyone here with that problem has resolved it doing that. Hope this helps
well ive heard the ol heat up the area and push it in.....i was wondering why you went from 225 to 235? i always thought if i went with 20's i would get 225/30/20, is this not right?
Yea its normal dude. I did the heat gun mod and a week later it popped back out a little. So I still rub a little when I turn.
the wheel are straight when i took the picture...anyway thank God is normal, i thought that my passenger side is going to fall off soon...hahahahaha....but would this cause any uneven wear?
Uneven wear on your tires, probably not. It is time for the old heat gun mod. You can pick a heat gun for around $35-$50 @ your friendly home improvement store. Or, if you live in the southern part of Orange county, you could drop by and use my heat gun if you don't want to spend the $$.
thanks, i will prolly go back to the shop and ask them to do it for me...how hard can it be...anyway, any1 has the pics of their old heat gun mod? So i can get an idea how it'll looks like...
Yeah thats normal. We did it to my friend's car and with that area there is something right behind it, so heating and pushing back can only go so far. Don't expect a miracle when doing it. As for the gaps, its normal... thats just the caster. Sometimes they set it forward to prevent the car from pulling, etc.
