Yellow cut-off line is completely normal for 5000K HIDs. Our lens' aren't that great and most will produce a yellow cut-off color for temps up to 6000K.
Don't worry about uneven cut-off line too much because it's a quick fix. If one side points higher than the other, a. check to see if both the bulbs are secured completely by both metal clips for each side of the harness...if they are completely secured go onto step b.---> use a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust your cut-off height. This shouldn't take you longer than 5 mins at night. BTW, make sure your car is level and have your car facing a garage or a wall when you adjust the cut-off height.

One more thought, if you really want that nice cut-off color I suggest you retro-fit some TSX projectors/lens' as they are one of the top projectors and lens' out in the market.

Hope this made any sense or helped.

im gonna have to agree with the above posters, make SURE your bulb is seated properly... sometimes it may feel 'in' but its not, as for the yellow... sorry i have no xp with 5000k and less hids... stock is 4300k and you went with 5k so dont expect much color change... 6k imo is the best balance between output and looks.

adjusting the cutoff, its in the manual p. 31x'ish

OOO...I just completely based my post on your first post. Just make sure both of them are held in completely. Unless, they gave you a wrong 2nd bulb, they should look identical with one another.
