Default Leaking Air!!!

So i got my wheels installed about one month ago and a few weeks ago i realized that one of my tires was low on air so i filled it up. But now i realized that both of my front tires have 20psi when they should be at 40psi... Im guessing that i have leaks. I am running 19' Iforged equips. Do any of you guys also have problems with your aftermarket wheels?

thanks

probably the valve is not shut. it happened to me on one of my wheels last time. you can fix it with a screwdriver.

my OEM rim loses air (~10psi) every 2-3 weeks..... I am suspecting it's the seals from the TPMS........

it could be 3 things... the seal on the lip, face, barrels is bad, valve stem seals, or ripped bead on the tires. stick the wheel in a pool or tub to see where theres a leak.

If the wheels are new, 99% chance the leak is at tpms module + stem (extension?) area.

Check your tire shop if they replaced the rubber grout on tpms stem. It is a rubble placed at the contacting surface bteween the wheel and the module. There is a "maintenance kit" for tpms module and it's needed when remouting tires. A good shop should use the kit and charge about $10 MORE on each wheel for this process...

Mankind did not drive with TPMS for last 2,000 years, and we have to get used to it.

I had a similar problem. The right rear wheel needed to be filled with air like every month or so. Turns out that there was a nail in the wheel.

This is possibly the explanation. I was told that the TPMS seal should be replaced anytime it is removed from the rim. When I had my new rims installed at Discount Tire, they stressed the new seal kit. I said absolutely for only $20. Tire Rack sells this kit as well.

+3 Its probably one of these. You need to take it back to the tire place so you have documentation just incase anything happens to your new tires. should be a quick easy fix! they do need to reseal the TPMS when and if they removed them from your OEM rims.
