You're welcome guys. Most dealerships outsource this kind of work and it kills me to see people pay an extra $150-$200 MORE at the dealership for the same exact service done by the same exact shops. Going directly to the guys that do the work saves more money for mods.

Actually Amber is Law. but there are plenty of cars with red signals out there.

Here, another option verses red, try silver coated amber bulbs. You can paint them with high temp silver paint from home depot or purchase them at Murries for a few bucks.

When not lit they're pretty much invisible to the naked eye, and show the clear lense as . . . well . . . clear. Without all that UGLY AMBER Yuck.

But . . . BUT when you signal they shine AMBER. A double win.

I've done this on my White on white BMW with Clear lenses and the effect was excellent. I'll have to try this on my IS.

IMO, the IS-F clear lenses look as bad as the amber. They don't flow at all.

Redouts or nothing!

I have to agree entirely with this statement.

Yes i need to do this when it warms up. is it really that hard to do? i put one of these skins on my blackberry phone a month ago and it was pretty easy...must say it took a while for me to attempt getting the phone wet, but it worked out great by following the directions! for 12$ i think i will try it when it warms up.

if there is a way to do red and clear only it would be better

but I am sure the ISF tail lights would be very expensive

If you are referring to the vinyl instal, it is easy. It should be warm out or do it in a garage with a hairdryer. make sure to use rubbing alcohol and clean the amber area real good. Then line up the vinyl kit (assuming it is aerotech or Rvinyl pre-cut) and install. Very painless and does not require cutting.

My install took me 10 minutes, it was a breeze. Here are some before and after shots:
