I posted this on another thread - If you have a 2010 and earlier Lexus, and you install a new rolling code opener, you may need a repeater for your new opener. I just put in a new Liftmaster and was told by Liftmaster (after multiple attempts to pair with my wife's 2007 IS, that Lexus before 2011 would not pair and needed a repeater. Apparently, Lexus did not provide updates to Liftmaster. The repeater is normally $40.00 but if you call Liftmaster, they sell it for $7.00. Then, it's easy!

Here is my dilemma:

I own 2 Lexus vehicles:

I have a 2012 IS 250 F Sport and a 2009 GX470.

My garage door opener is a Genie Pro Intellicode

I have a keypad already programmed to the door opener.

Ok, I program the IS250 and it works. I then program the GX470, and it works. I then go back and test the IS250, and it now does not work, but the GX still works. I reprogram the IS, and now the GX doesn't work.

This is getting rediculous.

Any ideas?

If you have a newer Chamberlain opener with rolling code, you can purchase (order) a repeater for $27. The "repeater" is a small electronic device that will receive and convert your cars opener signal to be compatible with the door opener. Just did this with a new Chamberlain opener to our 06 IS350. A perfect solution to your problem. Suggest you go to Chamberlain.com and research to find the repeater and your opener.
