Default Parking Light Question

I am looking ahead at all the pics of the DRL's and the parking lights, are the Parking lights the same bulb as the DRL's or is it located below it. Has anyone left the parking light out so there is no light there at all?

What Color Are the OEM HID's? Are they liks super white or are they like my Acura with the Purplish hallogens?

No the parking lights are not same as the DRL. The DRL are really High beams just lower wattage.

The HIDS are in the 4000k range like your acura. The purplish colors are the 10,000k. There are a couple people here that have that. They got them at xenondepot

So where is the bulb of the drl compared to the parking light, under it? any pics of just the DRL's on.

Second, So I am guessing we don't have a purpleish tint, they are just white.

Third, what if I take the parking light out all together and have no light coming from the Parking light?

the parking light is the little wedge bulb located in the upper outerside of the headlight. ur DLR is the 9005 bulb u see first when u look at the highbeam area.. as said above.. the DRL is the same bulb as ur highbeam but at half wattage. ur stock HID is rated around 4300k. its more of a whitish yellow. if the TL HIDs seem differnt it may be because the projector lens is at a differnt curvature therefor u see a differnt color spectrum. finally... what if u take ur parking light out? i dunno.. thats up to u.

but it looks to be a led already. We are looking at the same bulb, the one to the right of the pic where it says led. If I am wrong what should I get there a yellow LED?

I am confused. I am talking about the only bulb on the right of the pic thats says LED and not a size of a bulb. It looks to be behind the yellow housing. Does anyone change that one?

I wouldn't bother with that one since it sits behind an orange reflector..

I also see that the Stock Headlights are 4300k, so when everyone is getting the 6000k and the 8000k, its just the bulb. I don't see any DIY for just the headlight bulb change. Is that hard?

Stock HIDS are 4300k and if you want to change to 6K or 8K bulbs you just need to change it with the same bulbs D4S
