Question Volk +35 offset ?

Hey i just received my new "mooncakes" in the mail, VOLK RE30's and they are 18x9.0 +35. I mostly see owners putting +30 in the rear, does anyone if this will present a problem. If so any tip/advice would be greatly appreciated. Also will the addition of lowering springs affect the wheel's offset fitment ?

(ill add pics as soon as my sis comesback with my cam)

what are you complete specs 19x9 rear +35? or is that the front? a 19x9 +35 rear will not be completely flushed with the fenders but on the plus side you can run a wider tire or lower the car with no rubbing problems.

I think it is better if you bought a staggered setup, since our cars are staggered.

You might run into rubbing issues for those mooncakes on the front. The rear is fine.

I think it should be fine since its 18 and not 19x9. Just run 225/35 or 30 tire to be safe

so your rears look more flush with the fenders i would recommend some spacers. It will make it look more aggressive. I do also have an AWD, but i am running a staggard set up. 20x8.5 front +32 offest and the rears are 20x9.5 with a +36 offset.

you said it was +35 all the way around...
any spacer would make the offset lower..causing the wheel to stick out more.. i dont think there is any way to make it +36

Your wheels will fit perfectly, no need for spacers. My current setup is 18x8.5 +33 front and 18x9 +33 in the rear, and it fits the IS like a glove. The front won't rub, and you'll be almost perfectly flush in the rear. Of course, some of this depends on what size tires you plan on running. This is one of my favorite websites for comparisons like this.

Make sure to post pics when you get them on!

Javier
