How is the sound quality on this compared to others out there?

 

I have it and I think the sound quality is fine (just like in my Scion) however the one thing I don't like about it is that you use the Sat radio interface on the Nav screen, it does not allow for you to scroll through playlists/artists (unless I just haven't found out how to yet lol)

But with my Scions, (with Nav) the screen actually looked like an iPod screen when the iPod was plugged in, which was awesome:






I wish Lexus would do this…

damn it it javier sold it to someone else and sewell code doesn't work anymore.

 

Hmm why that is a good question…I honestly don’t remember seeing that screen when I had my iPod plugged in, and I’ve been actually unplugging the iPod to change the artists—I’ll have to look again when I get home, but if that is the case then boy do I feel stooopid hahaha

I should have asked you on Friday night because when I was going through the Team America/South Park songs I was taking out the iPod to change artists haha

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2007 IS350 that my dealer picked up at an out of state auction for me. I will be trading in my 2006 IS250.

Anyway, do all 2007's have the SAT capability so that I can utilize the lexus ipod integration kit? The new car has nav, luxury pkg, but no ML.

I was hoping to order the ipod kit from the group buy from L tuned parts and have it before my cars ready to pick up

Huh? the car has had AUX input since the very first year (06)


To the previous poster- yes all 07s either have sat or are sat-ready (it it'd be plug-n-play if you bought the sat tuner from Lexus)

I have an 06 now with the aux input........hmmm. The other person my have not knew that all IS's have it.
