Default Traction Control Alarm

Is there a way to turn off the audible alarm that comes on when the traction control system kicks in? Personally, I don't need that stressful beep to tell me that my back-end is kicking out (I've only had the car 2 weeks and today was the first time it kicked in--we have some nice icy roads this morning).

There is no traction control alarm, only a stability control (VSC) alarm. You can spin your tires all you want but the alarm won't sound until the car enters into a under/over steer situation. Don't know if turning off the nannys would be such a great idea in the snow, it could really ruin your day! I believe the alarm is disabled when VSC is disabled.

yeah when all the stuff is disabled, the alarm wont go off.. but he wants to keep it all on and just doesnt want it beeping (i agree, i can tell when my car is sliding and the vsc/trac is kicking on, and that beep just makes me get a little more nervous than i need to be)

idk how to do it though =(

What if you hit the "Beep Off" button on the nav?

If VDIM is keeping you from running off the road on a regular basis, the least of your worries should be the beeping!
