Hi guys I have an '02 Gs430. I've owned car for about 3 weeks and have noticed the alarm is a little quirky. Well to be honest it sometimes goes off and I just want a way to disable it. The first week I had the car I had it parked in my garage. I left the keys in the house and I was sitting in the car with the passenger door open. After about a minute the alarm goes off. Once I turn it off with the remote it's fine. But thats the weird thing even if I don't arm it the alarm will still go off if a doors open. Also sometimes I arm it and after a minute it goes off. My wife thinks the button on the remote gets stuck so the panic alarm comes on but I don't know. I own three other toyotas with the keyless entry and the alarm never ever go off. I'd appreciate any advice on this. Thanks in advance. I just want to be able to disable the alarm part

 

my alarm goes nuts also.. as far as i know there is no way to disable the alarm.

 

Have to use techstream to turn it off.
