Default Illuminated Scuff Plates
I know there is previous threads and all but Ive read through it and cant seem to find a solution for me. I have an 06 IS250 AWD and just got my new white illuminated scuff plates. Supposed to be a Plug and Play and it wont turn on when the door is open and connected.

The 06's are not PNP. Only the 07's-08's are....

I have a set of scuffs on the car right now & despite the fact that they're plugged in still don't work. If you look in thread's for the Illuminated scuffs we have to hack into another fuse that generates power when the door is opened. Possibly the circuit for the footwell?

Anyone got any input for us here???

plug in play only for 07-08 only takes 5 minutes! sorry cant help

Scuff plates are only PNP on the '06's if you have the Sport or Luxury Package. Otherwise you have to do some cutting and splicing. There is an extensive thread with pics on what you have to do. A simple search will turn it up.

Well, I can say I'm not to handy with "splicing" wires .

lmao my idea of splicing wires is accidently cutting them in half so im gonna pass and leave it to the professionals lol

Nope... Sport Pkg has the aluminum LEXUS ones, Lux pkg has the illuminated white LEXUS ones... base just has plain ones.

i'm sorry but i don't know what pkg i have. but mine has nav. 18', and hid, but my plates doesn't even have LEXUS on it

I'm pretty sure they changed the 08s to add white illuminated scuff plates as std on the base models? 07 Lux Pkg has blue illumatned scuff plates.
