Best Motoring is the coolest car show out there, hands down ( Fifth Gear eat your heart out) and this is coming from someone who doesnt speak a word of japanese. These guys really put the car through its paces. Anyway so yest i was watching episode 2007 vol 3. Where they put the infiniti G35/7 vs an IS350 vs a 335i and wat can i say, spectacular. now all i need is someone to translate the japanese cause i didnt get any of the details. And before u get ur hopes up the IS gets its *** handed to it. Even though outcomes are dissapointing lets be honest, deep down inside we all know our car is more "I" than than it is "S". Def worth checking out never the less. For all of you who havnt seen the episode available for download off the torrent sites, and if ur all so interest there is another video which i havnt seen yet with the TOMS IS45 which is epidosde 2006 vol 10 which im gonna assume will also get its *** handed to it. Either way i have a new found respect for the IS watching by those JTC guys whip the car around.
Oh for you US folk there is an american version of the show which i believe is either dubbed or subtitled. the IS45 one is BEST MOTOring Vol.20/ American Touge 3. You can also get the Series off Netflix

 

Ever heard of Top Gear? It's not too technical but it's great entertainment.

No, hopefully one of the IS-F soon. Fifth Gear did a piece on the IS but it was on the 220d.

Course it is funny how only now drifting is 'mainstream' here, I went to driftland back in 95, 96??? Came back to hawaii for a vacation and told my friends about drifting and they were like... uhh.

 

yea like Koofteh said it was fifthgear that did the IS and it was a diesel.
Yes ive seen every episode of topgear since the relaunch 10 seasons ago. thanks you finalgear.com. The Porb with top gear is it isnt real, not even close the whole thing is staged thats wat makes it such an entertaining show to watch. But EVERYTHING is staged in that show, everything. when it comes down to technical , indepth car reviews and pushing cars to the limits Best Motoring reigns supreme. Fifthgear is good but its just too effin boring. and they dont test out the cars enough like they do in BM. Tiff is the man though. Love watching him drive

 

I love watching Tiff Needell and Jeremy Clarkson, they are great entertainers. I can't stand watching and listening to the fat younger host on Fifth Gear (Tom Ford)....

 

Oh and btw for all u out there cause i know there is alot of u, that think otherwise; Clarkson cant drive for $h!%. He isnt as bad as lets say james may or the fat bloke off fifth gear but he nowhere near as good as the rest. Great presenter though, Sorry for the offtopic rant
Hammond, Vicky, Tiff, Jason plato are all ex race/rally/ car drivers like all the guys on BM.

 

No ive known about it for a few years, but i just found the IS episodes now, and i loved it so i thought id share it with other fellow IS owners who either havnt heard of the show or havnt see the IS vid. hence the only two episodes i mentioned concerned IS's

 

Someone posted that motoring video before. It was a wet run wasnt it?

 

yup but id be surpised if the whole vid was posted as its almost 40 mins long. Also worth checking out is the IS45,I know yall interested in that supercharged IS

 

Clarkson, Hammond, and Mayes is much of enjoying to watch compared to Tiff, although Tiff is a MUCH MUCH better driver.
