I'm not a fan of rolling races unless both cars are at the same speed intially. Seems like the two cars couldn't line up if their life counted on it.
The G35 is a quick car, and so is the IS350. Those who magazine race will see that whats on paper doesn't necessarily translate into the real world. A fraction of a second difference on the 1/4th miles doesn't translate into 10 car lengths. It's a lot closer than one might think, until you hit below 11s
i'm not even really sure if this is even a racing vid. theres a part where it shows the speedometer of the is driver and it looks like hes keeping a steady 80 or so.
Guys. I go to the 1/4 and 1/8th mile tracks a lot. I have NEVER been beat by a g35 coupe or sedan. They run mid to low 14's in the 1/4 mile and upper 9 to 10's in the 1/8th. We know our stock is's run mid 13 1/4's and upper 8 1/8ths. g35's are not fast.
That was 2 out of 3
Also, it looks like the guy in the g35 is rolling han solo style where the IS dude obviously has a dude riding shotgun. How much does the driver and passenger of the IS weigh? The g35 driver looks about 170.
i would think that with the old g35.. it would be totally different.. .is the guy in the IS flooring it ? interestin... cause i'd expect this type of outcome from the new 07 sedan g35...
It depends on the driver. I own an IS250, but test drove an IS350 (drove it all around Houston in fact). I can tell you that with an IS350, no car could show me up. This video had a passive Lexus driver!!
