Your rear turn signals can be red, it's perfectly legal so no reason to take it off. For example, all G35 rear turn signals are red.

Wow, sorry to hear that man! Glad youre alright. And nah, I wouldnt worry about the redouts. Theres nothing illegal about them that I know of.

 

thanks for all the replies! yeah, i decided to just keep them on, since visibility is still really good. they're just red instead of amber, and i haven't heard of any laws against using redouts. thanks for the body shop suggestion, but i decided to take it in to Marco's auto body in san gabriel, since thats pretty close to where i live. they ended up ordering a whole new door for me, and they say all repairs should be completed on or before the 23rd of this month. i can't wait to get my car back and return my crappy rental. after driving the is and this rental, i can honestly say... hp means nothing if you drive a brick

corvettes have red outs by default so dont worry about them.

 

i got an 08 nissan maxima. nice engine, but the car is definitely not a sports sedan.

 

i'd take that over the 07 focus i got when i got rear ended
