I have 2006 350 and since I bought it used I can't figure out which option package it has, if any at all. Mine has no navigation, wood trim on center console (I thought all 2IS has it), heated and ventilated seat, 18" rim. Is this base model or what? This can't be luxury package since there's no memory seat.

 

You most likely have the base model with premium package only.

 

Technically yours is not a base model, a base model will have nothing at all. I don't think any dealers order an absolute base model, except for maybe a few manual IS250's. What you have is the nicely equipped "base" model. Its the minimum package that dealerships order.

Premium Package (perforated leather, heated/cooled seats, wood trim)
HID AFS
18" Wheels
Preferred Accesory Package (wheel locks, cargo net, trunk mat)

 

To correct you, the 06 models did not come standard with HID AFS. You have to get the lux package to get HID AFS in the 06 models. What he has is a Auto base model with premium package, which includes, the preferred accesories and wood, perforated leather and heat/cool seats.

 

The 07 and 08 models don't come standard with HID AFS either. Its true for any year model that HID AFS comes with the luxury package. From what I understand HID AFS is available seperately in all year models and probably is included in the OP 06' IS350.

So your saying for the 06 models, the only way to get HID AFS is to get luxury package, and it isn't available seperately? If so, thats new to me.

 

yes, the 07 and 08 they are standalone and come pretty much with every US bound IS. the 06 was not standard.

 

Thanks guys! Yeah, I think mine has premium package with no HID. But what about 18" wheel? I guess it's just another option. So how does center console for the base model look like without wood trim?

 

The 18" wheels are another factory option, but seeing how its on every 2IS it pretty much is "standard". Do a search using keywords "sport package, metallic trim, aluminum trim" and you'll find pictures of what the woodless trim looks like. Its just metallic painted plastic with no gloss or sheen, much like the finish on cheap cell phones and usb devices.
