Anyone else thinks the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) doesn't work that well?

well the AFS sensor is connect on the sway bar link to the control arm.

does it aim lower when you are slower speed as well ? I seem to see more intensity in front of me when I am driving slow in the residential area?
