When I disassembled my center console for the DVD mod. I lost the rubber piece that has holes in it for securing the vent slats on the left side of my center console vents. When the center vent cover is removed the far left and far right side of the vent slats are secured by a little rubber strip with holes where the vent slat pegs insert, holding them in place.

Do I need to order an entire new vent assembly, or can I just order the rubber piece (part #?)? Thank you for any information you have!

 

I think youre going to have to go to the dealer for that one and hopefully you can get those individually.

I know, the one from the middle of the night with the water, I have been reading the two sets of posts and it made me think of the idea! I noticed his interior was still pretty good, not even a driver airbag out.

Funny we were both thinking of the same thing!
