Yes, and what a difference! I 100% recommend the VLED's, they are about 3x brighter and more evenly distributed in the housing. I'm not gonna bother posting pictures cause its gonna look the same on camera.

Side note: They do still flicker ever so slightly, which is caused by the reduced power used with the halogen DRL's. When you put your brights on with the LED's installed they are easily twice as bright than if they were in DRL mode. The rep from VLED's said in about 3 weeks they are releasing some kind of module that will allow them to run at full power when in DRL mode, so look out for that.

^ so when you say they can get twice as bright when you flick on the high beam is that as bright as the halogen high beams on high?

D.Jobin, thx so much for the day pics of that type of lite, everyone seems to want nite pics of DAYTIME running lites... why i dont know ... All i need is for someone with the VLED 3w 9005 in the silver housing to post day pics with them on and *closeup* of them off, then it would be possible to make a *complete* led drl thread with all pics n links in the OP and not scattered thru pages of questions/suggestions.

At the headlight, yes. Would this light transfer to the ground, not at all.

why not buy a 9005 socket and splice into city lights? this gives you full power without running highbeams...and DRL's only turn on when you turn on city lights...

seems to work pretty well so far in my car...

err... the 68... thats too busy... imo this is another case of bigger isnt always better when it comes to DRL's and the amount of led's, less is more

D.Jobin thx for being the guinea pig

For the 68 LED VLED's, it's plug in play right? So I don't need to re-wire theheadlights to reverse the polarity like you said you did on the other ones you posted before?
