Here's a few pix to help on the confusion.

DRL, when the car is on and when you're driving this is how it looks like

Both city and DRL, this is one turn on the headlight switch

City light only is when headlights are on

Hope this helps out the confusion.

Is the bulbs to buy to get your Highbeams that color?

Just curious and just to clear this up, your brights will no longer work as they are always on their highest correct?

Thanks in advance

Yes, those 1w LED's are what most of us have gotten from warden_jp2002, took about 2wks for me to get them. Since they are only 1w your DRL/HI beam will look the same so if you have some sort of yearly inspection keep the old bulbs just for that day you go.

Good thing about these LED, in the day they look off unless you look directly at them, i had one IS owner across a street lite from me staring at my 'front' for the whole lite trying 'i guess' to figure out what i had

Mine flicker slightly, but it doesn't really bother me. Probably from the difference in power.

With these lightbulbs is it just a quick replacement of the DRL's or is there more to it? I finally got them and just want to double check.

First, yes its just a quick swap.
Second and most imporantly, make sure when you replace the cover and before you snap it shut that they are 'hooked' in ESPECIALLY on the drivers side, use a flashlite even if its day time. Lotta ppl complain about condensation in their headlights, i have never had that problem and im always swaping lites out... the money ive spent finding the right combi...

What tool should I use to pop them out? This is my second car and I want to be sure to do things right lol without screwing up or not do them at all. Would the tool required be a trim tool?

No tool is required for the covers, just your fingers, when you take off the plastic cover over the radiator you'll see.
