I just got my new DRLs, and I was trying to change them. The manual doesn't really provide clear pictures and procedures of what should be done. After removing the covers, I can't locate the "lock" that I should switch off and I can't even see the light bulbs. Do I have to remove something else before I can change the bulbs?

not really, just look harder. The hardest part is the driver's side headlight because there was very little clearance for my hand to fit and get the cover out etc... so I had to disconnect the bolt connecting the wiper fluid hose so I could get some more room. Good luck

someone told me the fact that the VLED's flicker is good.. means that its pumping the proper voltage through the bulb and that it is safe for operation during NON HIGH BEAM ... the guy seems to know what hes talking about when it comes to everything else car related (he is a mechanic who mods sti/evo/etc) anyone can back that up? or hear anything liek that or read it?

yea about the connections i just remember where the BIG SILVER wire goes that metal piece twists and then comes out... NOT THE WIRE, but the metal thingy it attached through.

I can take pics if i go back in there sometime

I'm gonna try and install these today. I assume the module goes under the cover but it seems like it's gonna be a tight fit.
