did u guys put them in the high beam and the drls? or just drls? or just high beams?
Again with the high beam and DRL mix up... Highs are the DRLs. What you are referring to is parking/city lights which is the little bulb in the top corner. Only comes on when parking and lows come on. Now your question, for those in the pic, you replace the high beam bulb.
so after searching and reading and trying to decide what i am going to do about those ugly drls i came to a simple decision. On my way home from the tint shop today i popped into lexus of orlando and they turned them off for me. Whole process took about 10 min and they did it for me no questions asked. What a difference, now i cant wait for my luminics fogs, 6000k d4s bulbs, and led parking lights.
anyone try spray painting the stock drl 9005 bulbs with a blue to see how that works? will the paint melt off? i'm thinkin about trying it since i have extra bulbs.
lol i really dont know. didnt real think about that. I guess i'll try it out for a lil, i dont know how much i use my high beams. If i feel like i'm needing them alot, i'll pulg em back in

One member here *that i know of* runs these, he said they look great but he didnt like how the yellow of the smt itself reflects in the housing. Its subjective of course but when i seen his pics *dont remember the thread* i agreed with him.
this is a new bulb, therefore noone has posted it up yet, be sure when someone does it will be added to this thread.
Once (IF) i have problems with my current set up i will for sure be willing to test these even at that price. Thing is... its 'show' season and my money is currently waiting for other stuff rather than buying stuff that i already have/currently work... come sept. i will pick up a pair just to 'see'.
