Default TPMS question

I got new shoes recently and the tpms warning is crazy...
Is there a way to turn off the TPMS? its getting annoying

i dont want to take it out of the stocks and put them into the new wheels becuase everything is already mounted, but how much to replacments run. if its not too expensive i might just stick some new ones in the wheels.

thanks

I went through the same thing... almost. Get new sensors. I did it before I even bought the new rims/tires, and I'm so thankful I did.

The first day after putting the new dubs on, the warning came on. It ended up being a mis-read of the sensors numbers in the computer and they had to be recalibrated.

A week later it goes off again, saying low tire. I take it in, and my right front tire IS low. You could never tell by looking at it, but it had 25PSI when my other tires had 40. Lexus said it's fixed and all is well... until another week later. Low tire again. At this point I'm annoyed that brand new rims and tires keep doing this. I call Lexus and they told me to test the PSI in the tires. Guess what? Same one is low again.

In the end, I had to take it to a tire specialist shop and do a dunk test. The bead behind the rim wasn't seated properly and the tire was losing air very slowly. If I didn't have the TPMS, I would have never known.

I've been reading people have been using sensors from Acuras and Toyotas for a cheaper route?

Does anyone know the part number for sensors for an 2007 is350?

I thought I read some where, and I searched here, about there being two different versions of the sensor.

Bah. Didn't this auction just end like 20 minutes ago? I was going to bid but then got a phone call and came back and the bidding had ended.

LOL. PHAWK!

Oh well, I called around and the cheapest I could find at the dealerships was $480 for the sensors.

yeah i researched for a while . . . the numbers match from that thread (ones on the actual sensors in the pics), so they should be the right ones.
