No. The car will not lock. Pressing the door button will sound a beep (I think) but it will not lock the car.

Keys in the cup holder too. Only coz have a garage door remote on same keyring & cant find the button quickly with key in pocket.

exactly. and when im home i just keep both keys away from my computer, radio, and phone since the manual says those things mess with the battery or something like that.
