where does everyone put your keys?

Can't see why anyone would take them out of their pants pocket. That's the whole idea of keyless entry. If you are going to take them out and put them on the seat, in the cupholder, in the ashtray, wherever, it defeats the whole idea.
Some people also remove their wallet once they get in the car, too. I don't get it.

key stays in my pocket.
i don't "remove" my wallet when i get in my car....my wallet is IN my car mostly permanently. i only put the wallet in my pocket when i actually need the wallet, like when i get out and go into the store.

short trips-leave in pocket
long trips-take out and put in cup center storage or where ashtray should be(I took it out)
I also usually leave my wallet in my car at all times unless I need it to buy something. I can't count the times where I meet up a friend and we end up going somewhere where I need my I.D. and I don't have it(bad thing to do I know) because I left it in my car.

in my work outfit: i keep it in my pocket, or jacket if i have one on.
when i'm wearing jeans: it stays in that mini pocket inside the right front pocket. dont even know what its called...is that a change pocket?
cargo shorts: it stays in a baggy pocket so i dont feel it.
gym shorts: i'll throw it in the removed ash tray and slide the cover over so i dont hear it rattle around

your NUTS! could you imagine someone having not only your baby (your lexus) but your ID, credit cards, and just about any other info that they could imagine having in order to steal your entire identity?! hell, they have your home address and a garage door opener in the rear mirror!
