Default Need Help, Will this 20 inch wheel setup rub on a Eibach drop?

Looking at some wheels, came across im thinking about getting. The specs are 20x8.5 font and 20x10 rear. The offsets are +37 front and +42 rear. Wheels come with 245/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear. Will this rub? Don't know too much about wheel setups, If it doesn't rub, I am going to pick them up.

that front tire will rub at stock height... im not so sure about the rear, but most that run a 285 rear use a 285/25/20 and 245/30/20. i know that many are running a 275/30/20 rear. good luck on your wheel selection.

offsets and widths are good.. just the tire sizing is a bit iffy. i think you can fit the 285/30 rear, but ive tried using those fronts and it wont work

You need to do 245/30 in the front

I dont know, but I've viewed almost every page there is on wheels and suspension... I think you should go to the official " Aftermarket Wheel Owners Post Your Setup " thread on the IS.. I know its over 70 pages long.. but go ahead and see what people are riding on.. I'm also thinking about some 20x8.5 but on 235/30/20.. I'm not sure its thats the best.. However the 245x35x20 are a for sure that will rub.. 100%.. especially if its drop'd.. reconsider that..

I agree. After a lot of reading I would use 235/30/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear.

ive seen a 235/30/20 on an 8.5 and id prefer to go with a 245/30/20 and 275/30/20. the 235/30/20 looks a little stretched on it. i just dont like the look of a front tire stretched and the rear not.

im not 100 % sure but i dont think the 30's will rub iv read a couple people havin 225/35/30 on front not really have much rubbing if they have any. and the ones that do usually fix that wit a heat gun.

I wanted 20" but after hearing so much about rubbing issues I went with 19"
I hear 245/30 and 275/25 will have a lot of road noise and your car will feel rough.
Good luck and post some pix

i just ordered my wheels and tires. i went with 20x8.5 w/ 245/30/20 and a +35 offset for the front. The rear is 20x9.5 w/ 275/30/20 and a +40 offset. This setup seems pretty good. I am waiting to have my eibach springs installed before putting them on. PM me around wednesday and ill let you know how everything works out.
