Hey, I've got an '06 250. What have you guys heard about this module?

no, its just some resistor piece of crap. it wont have any positive effects.

its as worthless as the tornado fuel saver.

cool, thanks for the advice. I'll be sure NOT to purchase.

What about green stuff break pads? My OEM pads squeal like little pigs, very irritating.

I dont think it's a good idea to mess with those....

1. possible warranty issue (even tho it's an useless unit)

2. If $135 can boost up your HP, I am pretty sure LEXUS would have done that ?!

theres a TSIB (technical service information bulletin) that you may be interested in... its BR002-06. look it up here: http://is350.007ihost.com

It amazes me how many people fall for this garbage. I've seen threads like this one in this very forum at least five times already...

Who said he (or anyone who asked) 'fell' for it? He saw a performance chip being advertized, and asked the question on a Lexus forum. What a dope, huh? There are such things as performance mods to ecu's -- just not for the Lex.

now ther is a few tricks you can do to get more power but they are not the best fot the car.
1 you can put a restor in inline with the air temp sensor so it will not ajust for air temp and you can have more power

Who said I was talking about the OP??? Have a seat and relax... I was referring to the fact of how well "performance chips" for the IS sell on ebay.
