Good find! Very interesting, but I think the key is trying to seal it for water vapor.

Are those originally made for 2IS, or those are just some parts that you found would perfectly fit?

They are the OEM dust covers. I thought it would be good to have them in case something would go wrong in the future. If anything would go wrong back in and take it to the dealer because I have drilled holes in mine to fit my HID cables.

For the record, those part numbers are incorrect. Those are for the high beam area covers.

Those are the High beam covers.

The correct part numbers are:

81135-53270.

I also went ahead and bought me the headlight connector as well, so there is no chance those connectors come off while I am driving. If you look at your headlights, there is a harness that connects the headlight bulbs to the rest of the harness. Its a small 2 pin connector that was gray for my car. The part numbers are listed below.

90980-11148 for the connector
82998-12340 for the slice connectors and wires that go into the 90980-11148.

You will need 2 of the slice connectors for each pin. One thing to note that these appear to all have toyota part numbers, so it may be cheaper just to get them at a toyota dealer.

Haha yea, I realized that after I opened up the box. Is that part number the same for both sides?
