Default Rear Spoiler Install

Did anyone know that the rear spoiler requires drilling holes to install (the Lexus factory spoiler)? I thought it was just adhesive. Has anyone installed one with adhesive tape only and had problems? I don't want the thing to blow off! Thanks.

Do a search... you'll find many a thread discussing just this topic. Some people drill, some cut the bolts off and use only the supplied adhesive. Both work equally well. It will not blow off.

had it on for a year with just tape. I cut off the bolts, and added more adhesive tape. no problems whatsoever.
