Wheather strip door problem
I have a problem, and i don't know if someone has this problem too and if it is solved.
When i wash my car, i use a "karcher" (pressurized water). If i put the tip of my hose near the corner of the door i would get water through the weathre strip inside my car.
My dealer has changed the 4 wheather strip of the windows at door, but i have the same problem. In the rear doors the problem is worse, the rear seat get a lot of water drops (i don't have photo of this).

Does someone how can i solve it?
I think that this problem causes the B pillar wind noise, becuase if the presurized water goes through the weather strip, the air could goes through more easy when i drive at 120km/h or more. What do you think?
Thanks in advanced from Spain

I'm not sure if there's a problem with the weatherstrip, but I don't think you should be holding the pressure washer tip close enough to the windows for water to get in. Water never gets in when I wash my car, but I just use a regular garden hose and keep my distance when spraying water.

the weather strip was designed in consideration of sound deadening when you close the door, rather than trying to keep pressurized water out. i believe if you wanted a tighter seal between both weather strips, it would be more difficult to close the door
I put the tip of the hose on the glass not in the paint. Water goes in through the glass and the trim where the glass goes up and down, not in the weather strip of door. Exactly, water goes in through the upper corner of window and the upper edge too.
I don't put presurized water directly on the paint

still, i think what CHRISIS was trying to say was this: what you are doing with a high pressure washer isn't much of a necessity when washing your car.
as an analogy: if you wanted to clean the monitor of your computer, would you use the "stream" function on the windex bottle, or would you use the "mist"?

ok, i will use a hose if i have a place but i live in a flat. Here in Spain if you wanna wash your car and you live in a flat you have to use public washer places. There are two types, automatic tunnel that causes swirls and I don't like swirls in my car, and other places with presurized hose, so i have to choose. The second type causes less swirls if you are careful. I wash the car with a wool lamb mitt and special car soap, and i use the presurized water to prewash the car and to rinse the soap.
