Default lost clip.. now worried..

i was changing out some bulbs on my headlights and while taking off the plastic covers in my engine bay i dropped a clip and it fell into my engine bay... I checked underneath the car and its not there. I didn't have a jack so i drove to my friends house so we could jack up the car and take apart the bottom plastic guard. Today was my day because my friend lost his car jack and we were forced to just hit the bottom of the car and see if it would shake out. Nothing came out and i couldnt hear any rattling either. Im hoping that the clip just fell out while i was driving but im just paranoid that it may be caught in something and cause some big problems later.

What do you guys think???

It fell where the red circle is.....

(This is not a picture of my car.. picture taken from another thread..)
please tell me some good news....

don't sweat it--the chance that it will cause problems is miniscule.

I wouldnt either. What I would do though is go to the dealer and get another clip because it bugs the hell out of me to be missing little things like that. Also, even if it did fall somewhere in the engine its plastic man... Its either going to melt to something hot, or break apart and then fall out it something hits it or crushes it. Either way it wont bother much.

Yeah the clips are really expensive. My dad and I both have Lexi that need those clips and after every oil change, etc, inevitably we find ourselves buying some more. I've dropped two in my engine bay already :/ But my car still runs fine! Your car will be fine too, no worries.
