Default Car setting question

I have a question regarding some setting in the car. Everytime my friend turns the car on, the AC turns on and the fan is at medium setting. I can't seem to fine a setting that would turn it off. Maybe I'm not looking hard enought. But on my car, I don't have something like that. It just turns on without having the a/c on. Any ideas? Thanks.

The problem is, we have to press the "OFF" button everytime to turn it off. But when you turn on the car, the a/c and fan AUTOMATICALLY turns on, even though I turned it off previously.

Then in that case i suggest taking it to the dealer and having them take a look at it cause you are correct that is odd.

If you're referring to the "auto" button on the front, it is OFF. I turned EVERYTHING off when turning off the engine. Then when I turn the car back on, the a/c and fan turns on.

I think it might have to do with the LPS setting look at the last one.

The LPS does not say it will turn the a/c and fan on when the ignition is turned on. It says when the a/c is on, do this ....

So much trouble to have on a new car.

try using a different profile setting and see if that works.

it remembers certain things. ask the dealer like others have already said. my car remembers the last temperature setting, so that when it's "on" vent mode (nothing on) it will be warm or cool.

my rub on this is theres no plain off for the front defroster. always goes to A/C then have to push off again,,, arrrrr
