Default A/C problem.. shouldn't be too hard.

When I hit the button to turn my AC on, it always goes on level 5, no matter what. Level 5 is level 5, but so is everything else and it's really annoying. I went into autozone today thinking it was a bad relay, but the guy there told me otherwise. I forget what it was that he said, but he told me to take it to the AC place down the street.

does this sound familiar to anyone? if so, is it easy to fix? I REALLY don't want to take it to the dealer.

Thanks

Have you tried turning only the fan button instead of the "auto"?
If you press auto it start in full. If you press the fan it star where you leave it before. This is covered in the manual.
