Default Add DVD capabilities w/out ML???

Is there a way to add DVD capabilities to watch burned music videos if you don't have ML? Help!

Not with the stock system.

You'll have to go aftermarket. A member installed a nice fold-out LCD screen from the stereo unit that can play DVDs. It looked clean.

As far as a picture or how they did it, I don't know where to find it for now...

I know this might sound stupid, but I bought my car today without it. If I go back in and want to just buy the ML one, do you think they would mind? If I showed them that I truly want it and my friend knows the owner?

They won't mind at all. Pay the difference between a new car and your now used car plus the ML capability....and you're all set; good to go. Enjoy!

I know it's great, just today I was watching Spiderman II again (preparing for "3") and the video quality and sound is nothing short of amazing, especially the runaway train car scene.

I haven't even received my new car. They have to find it first. So you think they wouldn't mind? I can call them first thing tomorrow? What do you think?

I put a 3k downpayment down and signed all the paperwork, but they have to swap it from another dealership because they didn't have it in their lot. They are going to look tomorrow for one. I just wrote an email to my sales rep to see if he can do anything.

Do you have a link for that NAVandTVTOGO and how much is it costing? Wow, I bought the car of my dreams today and now after continuing to read about the ML that is soooo good, I feel like crap.

if you haven't taken delivery of the car yet, you still have a chance. look at it this way, when you purchase a car and the deal is final, you get a car and a VIN. do you have a VIN?

Vehicle Identification Number. Just call the dealership first thing this morning. You haven't taken possession of the car so it shouldn't be that big of a deal...

CALL THEM ASAP! So they dont find the car you originally wanted.

They probably will be a little bitter because its harder to find ML.... but make sure you get the car you want. Adding ML or DVD capability in the future will be a ton more expensive.
