Add DVD capabilities w/out ML???

I don't see the point of having the ML just to watch DVD's on the Navi screen, you can only watch a DVD when you are sitting in the car and not moving, really how many times does that happen. For half the money of having the ML, I am putting 2 headrest 9.5" screens in and a DVD changer, to me makes more sense for the rear pass. (who will be my grandchildren) to be able to watch a DVD.

please do a search, theres like 2 or 3 different threads on this already...a couple members, including myself, have done the backup camera hack which enables you to install some RCS directly into the back of the nav. You can put a ps2, DVD, or anything else in the car with the audio running through the aux port.

finally, there is a tvandnav2go for our car; problem is, it runs upwards of $600+ without setup/install/wires/dvd player, etc.

the hack will have you running dvd in hours for about the cost of a few switches from radioshack
