Default 2006 to 2007 Color Differences

I have an 06' IS250 in Blue Onyx Pearl...I'll admit...I have that 06' sharkfin envy and Im looking to order the part...however...the color codes for 06 differ than those from 07 in my case...I believe the darkest blue for 07 is called Black Sapphire Pearl....are these two colors the same or noticably different??

Please help...lol

I can't answer your question, but worst case get it and paint it.

Too difficult to tell. I see no logic in changing the names only. The color must be different. But the again I could be wrong.

Blue Onyx

Black Sapphire

They are different. Obsidian is 1% darker than Black Onyx. I would assume something similar for the blues.

Why would the colour matter?? Just get your paint code and have the shop paint it. End of story.

Do you honestly think people or even you can tell if the sharkfin is slightly different?? Its such a small piece that I doubt anyone would point it out.

Just get the newer color and slap it on, simple.

Here is another example. If I had a Crystal White IS and I wanted to put the Starfire Pearl Sharfin on. I seriously doubt anyone would know the difference.

Just get it.

Thanks to Warrionex for putting those pictures up...I'll probably get the black sapphire fin and see what happens...looks like I'll have to personally go to the dealer and see the part for myself..

Thanks guys !

Both paints is quite different in my book. You can always order a Blue Onyx fin....from Japan
